Who is this course for?

Whether you are new to grant fundraising or looking to build on your fundraising experience, this Bid Writing Workshop will help you to launch an important project, improve your facilities, purchase much-needed equipment or expand the reach of your organisation.

Our attendees will include fundraisers with all levels of experience looking to hone their grant fundraising skills, as well as those who are looking to write their first application and don't know where to begin.

What to expect:

Whether you are new to applying for grants or have a wealth of experience, our Bid Writing in Sports & Physical Activity Workshop will support attendees to:

  • Unpick the grant fundraising process;
  • Ensure their organisation has the right things in place to have fundraising success;
  • Discover how to find funding opportunities and decide which funds are right for them;
  • Learn tactics for arguing the need for their project;
  • Create a grant-fundraising action plan.

Our Bid Writing Workshops are open and conversational, with a mix of group work and individual tasks offering a friendly and relaxed environment with plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

The deadline for cancellations is ten days prior to a course. If notification is received after this period, we will not be able to issue a refund or transfer the booking to another course. We will only issue refunds or transfers in circumstances that are in our control or whereby the fault lies with us e.g. we cancel a course. Payment for the course must be received prior to the date of the course and can be made online via PayPal or debit card (The image below shows the PayPal debit card payment option button. This option does not require you to have a Paypal account).
