Herefordshire Values Games
Whilst the 2020-21 academic year saw all of our School Games events be delivered virtually, this academic year we are excited to announce that our face to face School Games are back! We have developed a bigger and more extensive School Games offer for this academic year, offering more opportunities for young people to experience the School Games in Herefordshire.
This May will see the new Values Games! In partnership with Stride Active, we have developed the Values Games around the six School Games Vales; Determination, Respect, Self-Belief, Teamwork, Passion and Honesty. This event will showcase the 'spirit' of the Games, seeking to improve the confidence, develop team working skills, help recover social skills and motivate young people towards a more active lifestyle. This event has been specifically tailored around engaging those young people that are less active, those negatively affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and those who don't normally represent the school.
We will be posting updates from the Games on our social media on Twitter or Facebook.
