Free Parkinsons Exercise Awareness Training 1st August 2019
Posted: Mon, 10 Jun 2019 14:49
Parkinsons UK research has shown that if people with Parkinsons keep active and take part in physical activity it can significantly slow down the progression of this neurological condition. In the early stages whilst symptoms are mild the exercises and activities do not need to be Parkinsons specific but can be activities anyone can enjoy.
If you run exercise, sports programmes or activity clubs and have little or no experience of working with people who live with Parkinsons we want you to come along and join us at this half day event. The training event takes place on the 1st August 2019 at the Westmead Hotel Redditch Road Alvechurch Hopwood Birmingham B48 7AL from 9.30 - 1pm .
At the end of the session you will receive a certificate of attendance from the Parkinsons UK Local Development Team and will be added to our local activities database as having undertaken awareness training for when people are searching for activities in their local area. If you wish we will also introduce you to our local branches.
