Sponsor Announced for the Herefordshire Virtual School Games

With the six values of Respect, Honesty, Teamwork, Determination, Passion and Self-belief at their core, the School Games provides a unique opportunity to motivate and inspire young people aged 7-13 across Herefordshire to take part in more competitive school sport and get physically active.

The virtual School Games builds on the success of the 2020 Herefordshire Summer and Spring Games which went online in response to the pandemic and saw over 13,500 entries across Herefordshire. The Herefordshire Virtual School Games is set to return this summer, kicking off with a never-before-seen community roadshow event! Schools have been encouraged to recreate the summer festival of fun on Wednesday 7th July, hosting their school sports day or switching up PE lessons to be part of a county-wide virtual festival.

Stephen Brewster, Chief Executive Officer at Active Herefordshire & Worcestershire said, "The Herefordshire School Games is a fantastic opportunity to provide meaningful experiences for young people participating in school sport. Our virtual School Games continue to go from strength-to-strength and we have been hugely impressed by the commitment of primary and secondary schools across Herefordshire. In an Olympic and Paralympic year, we hope the School Games will inspire young people to be active, take part in fun competitions and keep the sporting spirit alive!"

"We are absolutely thrilled to announce Hoople Ltd as our Herefordshire Virtual Summer School Games sponsor. We are extremely grateful for Hoople's continued support of the Herefordshire School Games."

Since 2011, Hoople's service portfolio has grown, providing a range of services to public and private sector customers. Their portfolio ranges from recruitment and temporary staffing, training, apprenticeships, payroll services through to finance, HR and IT.

Audrey Clements, Chief Operating Officer at Hoople, said "The six values of the School Games motivate Hoople to keep driving forward. We strive for effective continuous improvement and the commitment and ambition from our team makes this possible. For us to be invited to sponsor an event that is so inspiring, that showcases the importance of participation to young people across Herefordshire is something we are incredibly proud of."

"Hoople understands the significance and the positive impact participation can have on an individual and a group. We are certain that this will be an inspirational event for all the participants and leaders."
