Live Longer Better Christmas Gifts For Older Adults

Have you ever searched 'What to buy an older person year old for Christmas'? Did the results include answers like chocolate, sock, alcohol, or slippers?

Don't get us wrong, these are all lovely gifts, however, they don't impact the person's wellbeing at all.

This is what we want to change. Why not make 2023 the year we give gifts that just mean a little bit more; gifts that support people to be more physically active, get stronger, or improve their mental health?

Lets help the older adults in your life to live better for longer.

So, as we approach another Christmas when money is tight, lets think about some of the best gifts we can share. One of the most precious gifts we can share is time. Perhaps time to go enjoy an activity together, or time to take go on a walk. Obviously we cannot exactly 'gift' time, but there are things that give us time. As we get older, remaining physically and mentally active will help to reduce the risk of frailty and other long term health conditions, boosting physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

Follow our '12 Days of Christmas' campaign for inspiration and gift ideas that support the physical and mental wellbeing of our loved ones this Christmas season.
