What is Shape Up?
'Shape Up' is a 12-week programme run in partnership between Active Herefordshire and Worcestershire, Places for People and Wyre Forest District Council. Throughout the 12 weeks, you will be supported and encouraged to make healthy lifestyle choices relating to your diet and nutrition. This may be the food you eat, the amount you eat, finding out what is in the foods that you buy as well as looking at how you can balance your diet.
Throughout 'Shape Up' you will be able to try new activities at at the Wyre Forest Leisure Centre, as chosen by the group. These activities may include gentle aerobics, aqua classes, cycling, circuits and many more. You will also gain free access to the Wyre Forest Leisure Centre throughout the duration of the programme*.

Who is 'Shape Up' designed for?
The 'Shape Up' programme is designed to support individuals aged 16+, living in the Wyre Forest District, who may be less active, or have a Body Mass Index (BMI) over 30, to become more active and think more closely about their diet.
