Walk for the NHS Charity Challenge
Complete your own walking challenge this May and join us in raising money for the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust.
The challenge is simple... Set yourself a walking target to complete during the month of May. This could be a number of miles or kilometres, laps of your local area, lengths of your garden, or even a virtual challenge. The where isn't important, the challenge is all about stepping outdoors, taking in some fresh air and raising money for those in need. It doesn't matter how much you raise, it could be £1 or £100! Every donation, no matter the amount can make a difference. Don't forget to share the link to the challenge JustGiving page and encourage your donators to give a message of support!
There are no rules (apart from Government guidelines on the roadmap out of lockdown) and the challenge is open to everyone. On Saturday 1st May you can commence your walking challenge, knowing that each step taken is for a great cause and is helping those who need it the most.
Share the following link with family and friends (https://justgiving.com/fundraising/walkforthenhs), tell them what you're doing, your personal walking target and how their donation will be used to support the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. It's as simple as that! We cannot do this without your support and that of your family and friends. Please share this fundraising event with others you feel may like to get walking and raise some money. The more walking, the further we can go!
Whether you're walking in your garden, up the Malvern Hills or virtually from Land's end to John o' Groats, we'd love to see it! Share your photos and videos on social media using the hashtag #WalkForTheNHS and tag us @ActiveHW.
